This mesmerizing building is now the centerpiece of the Luma Arles cultural district.

This magnificent architectural masterpiece by Frank Gehry has been captured by architectural photographer Iwan Baan.

Baan’s images show the distinctive tower rising above the surrounding buildings in the picturesque town of Arles, France.

The 56-meter-high tower was designed to be a landmark for the 27-acre cultural campus. It was a commission project by Swiss collector Maja Hoffmann, founder of Luma Foundation. It features 11,000 irregularly arranged stainless steel panels that create a futuristic mirage.

The building contains exhibition galleries, archives, a library, offices, seminar rooms, and a cafe. It is also a marker for the site and a beautiful lookout tower.
